Susan Humphrey's Sig - The Explanation!

"Once upon a time I took some acid. After I came down my perception of the world had changed, man. I had this burning question that I just couldn't seem to answer - 'how long is a second?' I was obsessed by it and I asked everyone over and over again.

"Anyway shortly after this, sitting with a friend in my room, for some unknown reason, we cut the letters of my now famous quote 1 foot high out of purple paper. We then devised some complicated system (which I now forget) to randomly select the letters and place them along the length of a wall (which we had already measured out). The result:

"And there it stayed for the rest of the year. Someone suggested to me after I decided to be an artist that they had always thought this was a creative thing to do. Whether that's the case or not I like to think of it as 'my first work' and it seemed sort of appropriate for the Net somehow."
