Decidedly not a 'rave' club, Evolution is Bristol's newest nightspot (opened in early December 1998) and situated down in the docks area, directly opposite the Arnolfini.

There are two rooms, which they use to put on different, but matching, types of music, I gather that the capacity is in the order of 1,000 people, they're open 5 nights a week from 9:30pm to 2am and the music policy is generally commercial, chart hits and party music.

However, it has rapidly gained a reputation for being troublesome and full of drunken beer monsters so it's probably not the place for any fair-minded raver to find themselves! :)
