The Brunel Rooms in Swindon consists of two large arenas (the Main Room and the New Amphi) plus a chill-out for each area. All rooms are air-conditioned with powerful sound systems, accessible bars and good lighting, special features include the excellent sound system in the stylish and clean New Amphi and the amazing revolving bar in the main room - it'll get you every time!

The club itself is situated in the centre of Swindon - head for the Brunel Tower (which is visible for miles around) and then ask someone for directions to the Brunel Rooms. There is plenty of free parking nearby and the queues are under cover (but can get a bit cold in winter).

The two main nights are of course Friday and Saturday - Friday night is FRUIT CLUB night, alternating weekly between hardcore and drum & bass in the main room while all things house are played in the New Amphi. 'One Love' also takes over the club once a month for their very popular house nights with many 'name' DJs, a good vibe but a much stricter dress code.

Saturday is FRISKY night with general club sounds being played - not a mainstream disco night, more of an all-in club night with something for everyone.

Here's a review of the Fruit Club's 4th birthday party from Muzik magazine, and another from Out Of Hand.

There are two queues and two cash desks, one for the Main Room only, the other for the New Amphi, which also allows admission to the Main Room. FRISKY

Frisky features commercial house, garage, trance & hip-hop sounds in the Amphi, while the main room is more on an underground tip. It is open from 9:30pm to 2:30am each Saturday and features resident DJs Paul Ricketts & Leigh Gregory, Craig Bartlett & Dave Jones monthly, plus special guests every week.

Frisky is more mainstream and "dressey" than the New Amphi room on Fridays - smart club wear is expected so make the effort and you're sure of a good time.
