One of the more recent additions to the Bristol club scene, Powerhouse is situated at the bottom of Stokes Croft, directly above Sebright Printers (who actually print most of the flyers you see in Bristol!).

It started life not being very sure of its identity but has now settled down and become the home of several regular jungle nights such as Mutiny, and In Flavour but also hosts all sorts of other occasional and one-off nights too.

It has recently been extended to include a second floor; the original floor had a medium sized dance floor with a very loud sound system and several area for sitting and chilling, I haven't visited the second floor yet but it's usually used to offer an alternative style of music to the main room.

It's quite a large place with a capacity of around 1,500 but has long bars and interesting seating so it never feels too crowded or too empty. It has a 6am licence which is usually used so you can really get into the spirit of things there! :)
