Bristol has never been all that hot as far as gay pubs and clubs are
concerned, a while ago there were several but for various reasons most of them
closed down, leaving just JUST and of course the Queens Shilling pub in Denmark
St.
Whilst being basically a 'straight' club, Club Loco
holds its 'Infamous/Heresy' nights on the first Saturday/Sunday of each month
which have a slighly gay leaning and there's 'Divine' which is a bi-monthly
benefit for the Aled Richards Trust on Wednesdays at Lakota.
Don't quote me on it but Lakota's Saturday night session often seems to have a
strong gay following too.
