I can't say a lot about The Blue Mountain as I've only been once, that was
some time ago and I didn't have a very good night as they were playing
acid-jazz type stuff which was not at all what I wanted. I therefore labeled
it "non-rave" and indeed they still put on nights of World music, Acid,
hip-hop etc. but there are now regular House and Drum & Bass nights and they
have a regular 4am license so I've decided to include it.
My impression of the place was a bit vague as I didn't stay long and they've
added an upstairs room since I was there but basically it's a fairly small
place holding about 300 people, you get to it from around the back so what you
see of it on Stokes Croft is actually the rear of the building.
(If you have been and would like to write a paragraph or two about it I'd be
pleased to include it here if you to me.)
Regular nights that I know of at the moment are:-
THURSDAY - "Original dxb" - 10pm to 3am - £3 / £2 concs
'Tech Step - Drum & Bass - Jump Up - Hard Step - Breakbeat - Jungle'
FRIDAY - "Purple Haze" - 10pm to 4am - £4 b4 11 / £5 after.

Tristan Bolitho, Nifty and Justin Anderson.
